Alyssa & Ben

I loved photographing Alyssa & Ben's wedding at Quamby Estate! It was the first time I'd been to this historic property in the Meander Valley and I enjoyed exploring every nook and cranny. The girls got ready in a charming sitting rooms inside the old mansion with its white, wrap-around veranda and antique furniture including a beautiful canopy bed.  Dappled light filtered through a big oak tree, under which Alyssa and Ben were married. Afterwards we took a walk down a dirt road shaded by trees and then into the harsh sun shining on rustic dwellings. An emotional reception followed at the clubhouse, where sad yet fond memories of lost loved ones resurfaced during speeches. As I left the party, the couple and their guests still danced the night away...
