Emma & Ben
Emma and Ben's wedding was casual and fun! The girls got ready at a charming little cottage with a big veranda surrounded by gorgeous gardens. Emma brought along her parents' wedding album as a reminder of her mum who sadly passed away some years ago. Ben and Emma opted to have a first look at one another before the ceremony in the privacy of the gardens, which I framed through leafy trees. I just love the shot of the couple kissing through a hole in the branches. Fitzpatrick's Inn was the site for their sweet ceremony under a big tree. Afterwards, this property provided a plethora of rustic backdrops for me to work with, including some old barns and sheds. The peeling paint on the shed door in a shade of dark green contrasted with Emma's ivory wedding gown and the bridesmaids' navy dresses. Emma's vibrant personality added some spark to group portraits as her enthusiasm was contagious. A mural across the road demanded to be photographed as a quirky backdrop for a jump shot, and the white columns at the front entrance of the Inn lined up perfectly with the size of this wedding party. Finished the evening early with some sparklers and a large group shot of all their guests...
