Tanya & Brett

Could I be any more in love with my first wedding at Red Feather Inn? I was in Heaven roaming this historic property and charming surrounds, opting for rustic, textured backdrops to photograph artistic details as per my signature style. On location scout the day before, I triumphantly discovered nearby public park land with open space and natural greenery for environmental portraiture, complete with a rushing river running through the picture perfect scenery. As always, Liv Rodgers did a stunning job applying the bride's absolutely flawless make-up. While I focused on Tanya's glowing face, a beautiful mirror reflected her gorgeous, flaming red hair perfectly styled in an up-do by Salon Red. My favourite moment captured while getting ready was the joy that flashed across the father of the bride's face as he held his daughter in a warm embrace. Tanya's profile revealed the same emotion via that same conveniently placed mirror. The ceremony included a sentimental sealing of a time capsule with a hand drill producing some hilarious reactions. Need I say more about the portraits taken afterwards? Hard to choose favourites from so many beautiful compositions and expressive interactions. Then dinner in the beautifully decorated dining room followed by cake-cutting in yet another artfully arranged room and dancing in an old stable with a cozy open fireplace...could this wedding and these photos get any more romantic? I don't think so...xx
