FIRST LOOK

What is a first look? A first look is when the groom privately lays his eyes on the bride for the first time before she walks down the aisle, enabling the couple's photographer to capture this moment more intimately. I was thrilled when Annie & Dane asked me to capture theirs! Before Dane arrived at The Islington Hotel where Annie was getting ready, I scouted out the perfect location for them to meet - a weeping willow tree where Annie could disguise herself behind the trunk and among the overhanging branches. I then asked one of Annie's bridesmaids to lead Dane over to where I was waiting to photograph his first peek at Annie's dress showing through the leaves. As Dane approached, Annie revealed herself in all her bridal glory. Watch these images slide across your viewing screen and wait for his reaction...xx

Couples should consider FIRST LOOK photos and help establish this new trend, especially if
having evening ceremony or off peak wedding outside of daylight savings but still wanting their most important portraits to be taken in the natural light.
